Scott Cooper, Founder of Evolution, travels across the United States offering his complementary masterclass for undiscovered singers, dancers, models and actors. Growing up as a child actor in a small town in North Carolina, Scott and his family never had the chance to learn how to work with a professional agency or how to break into major markets like New York and Los Angeles. He had to learn on his own. Cooper eventually moved to New York and worked as an actor before going behind the scenes to work in casting and directing. He decided that his passion was to work as an agent and manager to help up-and-coming talent find their way through this uncertain and confusing business. His Evolution of going from an actor to a client to an agent gives him the perspective of the entertainment process from A to Z. The Workshop/Masterclass gives him the perfect opportunity to scout new, undiscovered talent, like you or your child.
The free masterclass that Scott Cooper offers covers so many of the questions that new and even experienced talent have:
How to behave in the audition room? How your agency works? Rates of pay and how agency fees work? How to make sure that your headshot and resume are professional? How to break into other markets like New York and Los Angeles? Cooper also gives advice to models on how to move in front of the camera and how to audition for a runway show.
He addresses all questions about classes, pictures, conventions and what you should pay for and what you should not. This is not only a 2 hour informative workshop with the talent, but also a chance for Mr. Cooper to see each talent’s work for the entire interactive workshop. Through this audition, he is able to decide on which talent that he is interested in representing and introducing to his clients all over the world.
