Talent INC was born out of the idea of making careers for entertainers a little more accessible. Scott Cooper created this program out of his life experience as an Actor, Singer, Dancer, Director, Casting Director and Agent.
It is my privilege and honor to introduce you to Talent INC. When I was a six year old boy, growing up in a small North Carolina town, I would watch a show on TV called The Brady Bunch. I sat during each episode wanting to be Bobby Brady. I begged my mother to let me be on TV. I would make up plays in my room, force my family to listen to me sing at reunions and entered every talent show or school play that I could find. My parents were from a small town in North Carolina and had no idea how to help me develop as a performer or find an agency.
Living in New York as a musical theatre actor, I found it impossible to get an appointment with top agencies. Relentlessly, along with thousands of other actors, I would send out hundreds of headshots and resumes to no avail. I spent countless hours standing in line to sing 16 bars of my audition piece. Meanwhile, actors with agents would walk to the front of the line with a scheduled appointment. Every time I would see this happen I would think, “If only these agencies could see me perform, I would be able to get representation!” But where do you get an opportunity like that? That is why I created Talent INC. It is my mission to educate undiscovered talent and their parents and give them the stage in front of top agencies that can open doors into the world of entertainment.
Through this program you will be instructed in every aspect of the entertainment industry. For new talent it is the chance to quickly build skills and a resume. For experienced talent an opportunity to sharpen and polish your abilities. Through the development workshops we cover Acting for the Camera, Audition Techniques, TV Commercial Acting, Film Acting, Monologue Techniques, Improvisational Acting, Fashion Runway, Photo movement, The Business of Entertainment, Booking the Job, and Lifestyle and Commercial Print. Each performer then gets to show their individual talents in front of a panel of top agencies and clients. You will have the opportunity to choose performances in Singing, Dancing, TV Commercial, Film Scene, Monologue, Runway, Swimsuit and Photography.
It is not that talent in North Carolina, Ohio or Idaho are not gifted. It is the simple fact that these agencies and managers in New York and Los Angeles don’t know that you exist. At least not until Talent INC. Now a small town talent can develop the skills they need to network, learn from and perform for top national clients. Each performer gets one on one face time with each client for introductions and networking. Imagine being able to meet and interview with agencies all over the world in one day.
